At Dustin Mimbela / NL Mobile (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "the developer"), we are fully committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect data when you use the mobile application NL Mobile App for Odoo (hereinafter referred to as "the Application").

By installing and using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. General Information and Direct ERP Connection

The Application acts as a secure bridge connecting your mobile device directly to your own Odoo ERP server instance.

Credentials Privacy: The Application does not collect, store, or transmit your credentials (username, password, or session cookies) to any third-party or developer server. All authentication credentials are saved locally on your device using secure encryption and are sent directly to the URL of the Odoo instance configured by you.

2. Sensitive Permissions & Data Usage

To provide features such as real-time warehouse printing, scale integrations, and sales reconciliation, the Application requires the following system permissions:

A. Background Location (GPS)

Permission Usage: The Application collects precise and approximate location data (GPS) both when the Application is in the foreground and in the background (even when the App is closed, not in use, or the device screen is locked).

Purpose: Background location tracking is used solely to enable real-time delivery and dispatch tracking for delivery drivers, syncing coordinates directly with the GPS/Dispatch module of your configured Odoo ERP server.

Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your location data with third parties under any circumstances.

B. Notification Listener Service

Permission Usage: The Application requests system access to listen to notifications.

Purpose: This permission is used exclusively to capture payment confirmation notifications received from the Yape application (and/or compatible mobile payment wallets) on the device. This allows the local automated service to parse payment details (amount, sender name, and transaction ID) and automatically reconcile POS orders in Odoo.

Privacy of Notifications: No other system notifications are read, processed, stored, or sent. All text extraction is performed locally on the device.

C. Bluetooth and USB Access (Thermal Printing)

Permission Usage: Local Bluetooth scan, connect, and USB device access permissions.

Purpose: Connecting directly to portable and desktop thermal printers (e.g., Imin, Sunmi, Epson) and cash drawers to issue physical receipt tickets from the Odoo mobile POS without requiring a physical Odoo IoT Box.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the Application does not centralize information on developer-owned servers:

All transactional data, GPS coordinate logs, and print histories reside entirely on your own Odoo ERP database.
If you wish to delete your account or any associated data, you must perform this action directly within your own Odoo ERP instance.
Upon uninstalling the Application, all locally cached data, cookies, and peripheral preferences will be permanently deleted from the physical device.

4. Security

We implement standard technical security measures to protect local credentials and data transmission. All communications with your Odoo server are conducted over secure HTTPS (SSL/TLS) connections to ensure that credentials, location, and payment data are safely transmitted.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
